Hala Labaki is a Lebanese entrepreneur and angel investor. She co-founded, ran and exited “Shahiya” (the  #1 digital food brand in Arabic, serving 5+ million home cooks) to Cookpad Inc. (TYO: 2193). Cookpad is the world’s largest recipe community focused on making everyday cooking fun. Previous to founding Shahiya, Hala worked at Unilever and Monitor Deloitte in Paris, France. Hala holds a BA in Economics from the American University of Beirut, and an MBA from HEC School of Management in Paris.
