Anas BacharCEO of 12Tree Impact Incubator, HEC Paris Alumni

Graduating from the Grande Ecole HEC Paris, Anas has more than 15 years of investment and strategic advisory experience worldwide and developed an extended and trusted international UHNWI network. Anas worked in London, Vienna, Paris, Berlin, Dubai and Casablanca on numerous M&A, Corporate Strategic transactions and Wealth Management advisory for Top Tier International Financial Institutions before becoming the Deputy Head of Strategic Advisory and Capital Management at BNP Paribas IRB Division. Anas oversaw the execution of a considerable amount of complex cross-border transactions, of which the acquisition by the Russian bank Sberbank of 70% of BNP Paribas SA’ consumer finance unit ($157 million), the sale of Banco Cetelem Argentina ($20 million), the Euro Disneyland debt restructuring ($600 million), the acquisition of majority stake in the Guinean bank BICI Guinee by BNP Paribas’ International Division ($15 million), the financing of 2 Airbus A-320 for Air China Limited ($180 million). Aiming at focusing his work on environmentally and financially sustainable actions, Anas took over the position of CEO of Desert Timber, a subsidiary of Forest Finance Group, to - successfully - establish a leading Agricultural Operator in North-Africa. Building on more than 10 years track record of successful afforestation in the Egyptian desert using treated sewage effluent. Since 2019, Anas is also the Managing Director of the French business of 12Tree Finance GmbH (www.12tree.de) and in charge of developing new businesses worldwide for the German based sustainable assets' manager.
